Store Environment Team Member

Store Location Store - ORL-OVIEDO, FL Job Responsibilities Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store including cleanliness and recovery standards. Deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures. Dust and mop floors according to approved procedures. Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement. Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment. Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications (if required). Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment. Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs. Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers. Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members. Other Duties As Assigned Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards. Engage customers in benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments. Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS). Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes. Support shrink and safety programs. Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute company policies and standards. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to remain standing for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work Environment Public retail store setting; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work may be required. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
