Position Overview

We're on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enrich our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You'll wield cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic exams, engage collaboratively with a nurturing cohort of healthcare professionals, and provide crucial insights to our patients through timely and accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during assessments, clearly explaining each process with empathy and care
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly reporting any irregularities
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification desired

Skills Needed

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and proper patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
