As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.43 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM Sun 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct individuals to designated areas in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the orderly flow of people and vehicles. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
