Registered Nurse- Wound Management- Ambulatory Procedural

Overview Part‑time and full‑time roles eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. Minimum one year of RN experience required. Referral eligible and eligible for relocation incentive. Hours Four 10‑hour shifts per week, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday (no weekends). Our Wound Center The Wound Center is an 18‑room clinic with two hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers. The clinical wound nurse provides skilled assessments and evidence‑based care for patients with diverse wound needs, including pressure, injury, burns, arterial or venous insufficiency, diabetes, infection, and more. The clinic serves the Indianapolis area and surrounding regions in a multidisciplinary, fast‑paced environment. Nursing Skills Gained Skilled wound assessment and treatment utilizing techniques such as NPWT and HBOT Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and providers Wound, ostomy, hyperbaric, and WTA certifications Unit Successes / Designations / National Recognition Outstanding patient experience scores Highest “likelihood to recommend” core for clinics of similar size Many nurses are certified specialists Unit Culture Highlights 2023 Magnet Exemplar for device‑related pressure injury prevention Healing rates at or above national average (Net Health Benchmark) Only wound center in the region offering multiple physician specialties and advanced interventions including HBOT, custom TCC, and low‑frequency non‑contact ultrasound Qualifications Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred Active Registered Nurse license in Indiana or NLC RN license Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program Basic Life Support certification through the AHA Other advanced life‑support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty Why Join IU Health?
