What You'll Do

• Perform waived point-of-care laboratory tests in a mobile or remote setting, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, molecular, and coagulation tests.
• Receive and process specimens from phlebotomists and couriers, including venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
• Monitor and ensure quality control of reagents and instruments.
• Enter patient data and test results into the lab information system accurately.
• Confirm abnormal or rare results and communicate them to supervisors promptly.
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with state and federal documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot instrument or operational issues and perform maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols related to biological hazards and laboratory procedures.
• Support clerical functions related to specimen handling and reporting.

What You Need

• Valid laboratory technician license/certification in California
• Experience with waived laboratory testing and point-of-care testing
• Ability to perform venipuncture and specimen processing
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
• Able to follow safety protocols and maintain quality standards

• Prior mobile or remote laboratory work experience
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
