Logistics Billing Coordinator

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of this Billing Coordinator - Logistics position is to provide support in collecting and submitting proper paperwork needed in order to bill TMC customers. Provide administrative support to both our Capacity and Business development teams. Facilitate TMC's best in class operations to our customers through - data management, qualifying carriers, paperwork and other operation support functions.

Monday-Friday: 7am-4pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting TMC's billing team in collecting & submitting paperwork
• Answering carrier phone calls
• Solving various issues with carrier paperwork
• Assisting internal team members with questions regarding paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma with at least one year of related administrative work experience
• Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) products.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress
• Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to sit and use a telephone and computer simultaneously for extended periods of time
• Must be able to speak and hear clearly in a high volume telephone environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
