This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring material supply to support project and production requirements. Working closely with the Project Planner, the Supply Chain Coordinator develops realistic, committed supply plans and partners across the Supply Chain Center—including Supply Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics—to ensure successful execution.The role focuses on managing purchased material requirements, ensuring on‑time material availability at appropriate inventory levels, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact delivery, cost, or business objectives. While the position does not assume ownership of functional responsibilities (e.g., Procurement or Shipping), it plays a critical coordination and escalation role to ensure alignment and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Planning & CoordinationAnalyze demand for assigned parts and maintain a balanced supply plan to support project and production needsDevelop, maintain, and execute material plans using MRP and order release processesCoordinate with Buyers on capacity planning, ordering strategies, and supplier commitmentsCollaborate with Manufacturing Production Schedulers to align demand, supply status, and schedule changesSupplier & Material ManagementServe as the focal point for purchased material commitments and delivery statusMonitor supplier performance, follow up on deliveries, and manage schedule changesInvestigate material shortages or delays, establish recovery plans, and communicate revised schedulesProactively communicate demand, forecasts, risks, and mitigation plans to internal stakeholdersInventory & Data ManagementAnalyze inventory levels, turnover, and material health for assigned partsReview and disposition excess, slow‑moving, or obsolete inventoryMaintain accurate item and planning data within ERP/MRP systemsCommunication & Continuous ImprovementProvide accurate, timely, and proactive material status updates to internal customersCollaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Procurement to minimize disruptionsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on material availability, lead‑time reduction, and inventory optimizationRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree required3+ years of experience in supply chain management, material/production planning, or inventory planning/analysisSolid understanding of material and production planning fundamentalsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel required, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables)Ability to communicate effectively across functions and multiple platformsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform in a fast‑paced environmentStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to drive issues to resolutionProven teamwork and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsSix Sigma / CPS Green Belt or Black Belt certification or experienceERP experience with BAAN or Infor LNAPICS certificationSummary Pay Range:$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
