Role Overview\nNextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Texas-licensed Physician (MD or DO) to join our clinical team supporting our Marble Falls, Texas .
\nThis is a part-time clinical role providing direct patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Physicians work alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and clinical staff to deliver efficient, high-quality care for a wide range of acute medical conditions.
\nThis opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexible scheduling or supplemental clinical income while practicing in a collaborative urgent care environment without inpatient responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent care and episodic medical needs
\n - \n
Manage a broad range of low to moderate acuity conditions including minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses
\n - \n
Interpret diagnostics including X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory results
\n - \n
Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, incision and drainage, and other minor procedures
\n - \n
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and quality care delivery
\n - \n
Follow established clinical protocols and documentation standards
\n - \n
Provide clinical mentorship and oversight to APPs as required
\n

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
\n - \n
Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
\n - \n
Active DEA registration
\n - \n
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine (required)
\n - \n
Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care strongly preferred
\n - \n
Comfortable managing a wide variety of acute presentations across all age groups
\n

Schedule: Flexible part-time shifts

Patient Volume: Fast-paced environment with strong clinical support teams

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus stipend for APP oversight
