Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days, flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, evidence-based rehabilitative therapy to patients with physical functioning disorders
• Implement treatment plans including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and ambulation
• Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments based on patient progress
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic medical record
• Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant license
• 1+ years of experience as a PTA
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently under supervision of a PT

Knowledge & Skills

• Evidence-based practice knowledge
• Manual therapy techniques proficiency
• Therapeutic exercise and ambulation experience
• Competency with modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
• Knowledge of assistive devices
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent patient consultation and communication skills
