Sr. Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities Maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment, including repairing equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, part pick and place machines, pumps, compressors, and other electro‑mechanical production machines. Perform advanced maintenance duties and provide guidance and leadership to other team members for routine and specialized maintenance and repairs. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Observe, operate, and listen to mechanical equipment in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantle devices to gain access, remove, and replace defective parts. Examine shape, form, and wear of parts to detect imperfections and problems. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, and straight edges. Repair and replace defective parts by removing and installing equipment components. Lubricate and clean parts, start devices to test for performance. A plus – able to set up and operate basic tool room equipment such as lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to repair or adjust parts. A plus – able to organize, plan, and prioritize work for others. Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines. Identify events and record differences for physical maintenance scheduling. Draft layouts and specify technical devices, parts, and equipment. Provide instructions, make sketches, and define requirements. Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing information and evaluating results. Education and/or Experience Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance (preferred but not required). 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in MSSuite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Valid driver’s license.
