Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Bowling Green, OH. This role manages inventory, fulfill orders, and maintains a safe warehouse environment.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a dynamic and growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products within our warehouses, with a flexible schedule accommodating the rotational nature of the positions. Available shifts 1st shift 8AM to 4:30PM (Overtime possible) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments. Accurately update inventory records using computerized systems. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order processing. Verify and confirm the accuracy of outgoing shipments. Prepare international shipments and confirm accuracy of shipping documents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Report any issues or concerns related to inventory, orders, or warehouse operations promptly.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products. Ensure that products are stored and handled in accordance with quality standards.
• Issue tools and equipment to personnel and keep records of items issued, returned manually or using computer. Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment and requisition stock to replace inventory. Mark and identify all equipment and parts and store them in specific locations. Work with "Buyer" to track and order spare parts for equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Shipping and Receiving experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
