Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with critical care and emergency experience for a night shift position at a hospital in the Chicago area.

Details

• Inpatient hospital respiratory therapy unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Critical care and emergency experience required
• Proficiency in blood gas acquisition and analysis required
• NBRC credential required: RRT or CRT accepted
• Illinois (IL) state license required if applicable — pending license accepted
• BLS certification required

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the assignment
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
