Special Education Assistant

Special Education Assistant
Location: Ben Franklin Elementary School Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate $33.50 /hour Hours: 6 (plus an hour unpaid lunch)
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma, or completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an associate's degree or higher, or successful completion of a local assessment demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities; AAC devices, and discrete trialing is preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
