About Bruns Industrial Construction
Bruns Industrial Construction, which is a part of Bruns Construction Enterprises, Inc., serves the industrial and commercial industries out of our offices in St. Henry and Sidney, OH. We provide a variety of services that includes electrical service installs and upgrades, equipment installs and upgrades, industrial controls, and maintenance. BIC is looking for people who are self-motivated and want a career. This company is an Associate Owned Company (ESOP)which is the difference between a job and an opportunity.
Description: The applicant will be involved in wiring buildings from the rough-in to finish phase. Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment; install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. A combination of new construction and remodel common, with mostly industrial and commercial work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Run and bend pipe
- Pull wire
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools
- Experience with controls and programming is a huge plus
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
- Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of electrical experience
- Ability to bend conduit, run wire and work independently
- A good understanding of how to read blueprints
- Competence with hand tools associated with the craft
- Physically able to lift and carry 100 pounds
- Valid driver's License
