Job Title: PACU RN Profession: RN Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts (Day, Evening, Night) Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Two (2) Years of Experience Required License: RN License (NY License ONLY) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: - PACU experience required - ICU experience preferred Description: Responsible for recovering post-operative adult patients. Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced nursing environment. Work with a wide variety of post-operative patients. This position is in a high volume and acuity unit. Positive attitudes and direct communication are the unit standard. Excellent communication skills are needed. Ability to work independently is essential. ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
