Sales Account Specialist

The Sales Account Specialist is an inside sales liaison who is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with multiple levels of individuals within an assigned customer base. Responsibilities include handling the day to day interactions with customers, reviewing and analyzing reports identifying customer opportunities and potential issues, and acting quickly on these opportunities and potential issues. You will be required to be very proactive with outbound communications and have a high level of contact with each customer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day needs of customers.
• Maintain a current database of all relevant contact information for active customers.
• Utilize CRM software daily to maintain all relevant information.
• Establish and create relationships with multiple individuals at each location to ensure we are meeting all their needs.
• Review and analyze all daily, weekly, and monthly reports identifying areas of opportunity and potential sales loss.
• Proactively monitor service levels to ensure that the company is providing the agreed upon level of service.
• Through effective communication with customers identify their needs, uncover their concerns, and work directly with all departments within our company to ensure these needs are met and concerns are resolved.
• Report out weekly on customer interactions and activity, improvement in customer service levels, and immediately identify any customer concerns that may result in a loss in sales or customer base.
• Review with customers all marketing and product information including introducing additional product lines and seasonal local products.
• Identify opportunities for growth within existing and new potential customers.
• Responsible for the complete on-boarding process for all new units including completion of Customer Set-Up form and other internal templates to ensure an efficient implementation for that customer.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred

Excellent verbal (telephone) and written (email) communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to work both independently and across multiple departments in an evolving, fast-paced environment.

Energetic, motivated self-starter with a proven track record of building and maintaining great customer relationships on multiple levels (Culinary, Foodservice Director, GM, etc.).

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Strong time management skills.

Experience and proficiency with Microsoft applications, keyboard skills and sales entry software. Produce industry experience a plus.
