Job Title Endocrinology Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed) Job Type Independent Practice Opportunity Many physicians want clinical autonomy but avoid private practice due to billing complexity, staffing risk, payer contracting, and administrative overhead. This opportunity is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. No prior business ownership experience is required. Overview This posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. This is not an employed physician position. Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. The physician governs clinical operations, clinical decisions, and sets patient care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care. About MedCBO MedCBO is a healthcare administrative services organization that supports physicians in operating independent medical practices across multiple U.S. markets. MedCBO’s service model is structured to align with corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) principles. Physicians maintain ownership and clinical control of their medical entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative and operational support. Non‑Clinical Services Provided Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination Accounting, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Supply chain and vendor coordination Physicians retain full clinical authority, decision‑making, and ownership of the medical practice. Final legal structure and regulatory compliance depend on the specific state and are established in coordination with licensed legal counsel. Opportunity Description We work with physicians seeking to: Start a new private practice Transition from employment to ownership Convert an existing practice to a supported model Relocate and establish a practice in a new market MedCBO supports administrative and operational functions while the physician independently operates the medical practice.
