• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work cohesively with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Train patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to support ongoing improvement at home
• Track Progress and Document Findings: Monitor patient development and modify treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring clients stay on their path to success

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or postgraduate certifications

Licensing and Certifications

• Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
