Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout, materials, and sequence of operations
• Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding, cutting, and bending equipment
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques as required
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machines to prepare materials and components for welding and assembly
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy, ensuring they meet required standards
• Maintain and repair fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
• Follow all safety protocols and industry standards while working with hazardous materials and equipment
• Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety
• Ensure that all work complies with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control measures
• Adhere to project timelines and work within established schedules

Requirements for Welder / Fabricator:

• Able to pass pre-employment weld test
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in welding or fabrication preferred
• Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, preferably in manufacturing
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with fabrication tools, power tools, and machinery
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions and instructions
• Welding certifications are a plus but not required
• Experience with CNC machinery or other automated fabrication tools is a plus
• Familiarity with laser cutting, plasma cutting, or other advanced fabrication methods is a plus
