AI Software Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the development of intelligent applications, the full-time remote AI Software Engineer will define and scale backend platforms and AI systems, leading complex technical initiatives and providing architectural leadership across teams. Key Responsibilities Set technical direction for backend and AI platform capabilities, defining architecture and approaches for scalable systems Lead high-impact AI and platform initiatives, coordinating complex projects from concept through production Design and build agentic systems, including routing, orchestration, and communication capabilities Required Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on generative AI or agentic systems Proven track record leading complex AI or platform initiatives from concept through production Extensive hands-on experience with agentic systems and backend engineering, including Python and distributed systems Experience with modern AI frameworks and developing evaluation strategies for AI systems Familiarity with SQL and experience deploying production systems in containerized environments like Kubernetes Virtual Vocations Inc
