Respiratory Therapist
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 7A - 6:30P. Weekend shifts may be required based on staffing needs.
Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist will provide patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing ventilators and assisting with various respiratory procedures as needed. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting ABG analysis and interpretation.
- Managing ventilators and providing nitric oxide therapy.
- Assisting with bronchoscopy and intubation procedures.
- Administering nebulized treatments and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC).
- Maintaining accurate patient records in the EMR system (Meditech).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have CRT or RRT certification.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- ICU experience is essential; CVICU experience and nitric management skills are preferred.
