Location Our campus is located at 1601 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30118. Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Chef or Assistant Manager, this position will provide supervision and operations guidance to the food service staff regarding food preparation, presentation of food, assignment of work, training, and customer service. Responsibilities Manages the daily operational workflow of food service operations including the setup of food service facilities, required maintenance, and ensures that proper customer service is delivered to students, staff, faculty, and visitors. Plans and prepares work assignments. Monitors cash register and all other cash handling functions. Prepares reports on food distribution activities, including inventory reports, fiscal reports, and cash handling reports. Responds to and escalates, when necessary, the inquiries and complaints from staff and customers. Consults with other food service supervisors, managers, chefs, and members of the department to coordinate efficient operations. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Required Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experiance Completion of the eighth grade OR three (3) years' work experience required. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Three (3) years food service experience. Basic Serve Safe Certification or knowledge. Proposed Salary $13.23 - $14.32 hourly. Paid on a bi-weekly basis.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must be able to make proper decisions related to food safety and sanitation as well as decisions to solve customer concerns.
