Assisting Hands - Arlington Heights
Overview Compassionate, mature, experienced caregiver needed to provide round‑the‑clock care for an elderly man in Mount Prospect. Compensation & Employment Compensation: $16/hour – full‑time, 40 hours/week (3pm‑11pm shifts). Responsibilities Work in conjunction with family and care team to provide consistent care. Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and maintaining cleanliness. Provide companionship and support for a male client (170 lb, dementia). Ensure client is safe and comfortable; keep client clean and dry throughout shift. Manage transition from home to facility or vice versa as needed. Qualifications Comfortable working with dogs. Experience caring for dementia patients. Must provide valid ID and Social Security Card. Reliable, compassionate, mature, experienced caregiver.
