Residential HVAC Senior Service & Sales Technician $18–$25/hr + 5% Commission | No Sundays | Take-Home Vehicle

On The Way AC is hiring an experienced residential HVAC service technician who can diagnose systems correctly, communicate with homeowners, and confidently present legitimate repair and replacement options.

This is a service role for technicians who want to produce at a high level and be paid accordingly.

Schedule

No normal Sunday service. Saturdays are limited, and late-night calls are uncommon. We would rather give technicians enough time to properly inspect, diagnose, and communicate than force them through 10 rushed calls a day.

What We Expect

You should be comfortable with:

• Residential HVAC diagnostics
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Superheat and subcooling
• Airflow and static pressure
• Drainage and water-management issues
• Duct and filtration conditions
• Equipment replacement opportunities
• Presenting repairs and upgrades
• Discussing financing
• Asking for the business

No scare tactics. No made-up problems. No unnecessary repairs. Find the real issue, prove it, explain it clearly, and give the homeowner options.

Minimum Requirements

• Residential HVAC service experience
• EPA 608 certification
• Strong diagnostic fundamentals
• Strong homeowner communication skills
• Comfortable presenting and selling HVAC solutions
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Ability to follow a structured service process
