Facility Maintenance Technician I
Acts as a lead for machine, equipment, and tool maintenance and repair; works individually with limited supervision.
Actively seeks opportunities to streamline and improve all production activities across all functional teams in a collaborative manner.
Follows in-process inspection procedures, checks quality of work visually, and verifies inspections by completing records.
Able to work occasional overtime or support critical issues when needed.
Escalates barriers and issues immediately to supervisor and necessary support functions.
Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
Knowledge and experience in general maintenance procedures.
Ability to follow all safety procedures and programs per company policies, including but not limited to lockout/tagout, fall protection, and any other safety procedures necessary to complete the work assignment safely.
Must-haves:
- 5+ years of experience in machine/equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial machinery
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
- Experience performing quality inspections and maintaining inspection records
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other industrial safety procedures
- Ability to work occasional overtime when needed
