Explore our Total Compensation Calculator: Resource Contact: View email address on click.appcast.io may include the following for housekeeping:Cleans and restocks resident roomsCleans and disinfects all public areas, including carpets, handrails, doors, windows, trash cans, and light fixturesCleans bathrooms.Gathers trash.Determines appropriate chemical solutions for cleaning and disinfection.Assists with laundry services, including sorting, drying, and distributing.Assures cottages have a supply of clean linens, cleaning supplies, and trash bags.Assists with scheduled, comprehensive cleaning of dining room areaQualificationsPreference may be given to applicants who have a minimum of 6 months of long-term care experience. Knowledge:Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices.Knowledge of cleansers, supplies, and equipment.Knowledge of basic math.Knowledge of state and facility policies and procedures.Knowledge of universal precautions.Knowledge of emergency procedures, cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.Knowledge of infection control standards.Minimum qualifications:Education: High School DiplomaExperience: 0-6 months of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping) OR 1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping)Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: NoneNecessary Special RequirementsPhysical working conditions:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Notes:FLSA: Non-exemptA background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.For our residents' health and protection, annual influenza vaccination is required, and annual testing for tuberculosis.Employees of this facility will be expected to follow all rules and requirements established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding COVID-19.Pre-employment drug testing will be conducted on safety-sensitive positions (direct patient care positions are considered safety-sensitive).
