Job Description Job Description Benefits/Perks * Competitive Compensation * Great Work Environment * Career Advancement Opportunities Job Summary Southern California Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our team in a growing, fast-paced, pain management office. This individual must be self-motivated, reliable and caring. Responsibilities: * Assisting physicians in minimally invasive office procedures * Obtain thorough chief complaints, medical history and vital signs * Educate patients on treatments offered * Create radiology orders * Obtain radiology reports from online portals * You may also be expected to perform front desk responsibilities including but not limited to: * answering phones * scheduling patients * checking patients in and out * collecting co-pays/deductibles Qualifications: * Specialty experience preferred * Certified Medical Assistant * Compassionate with good interpersonal skills * Ability to build rapport with patients * EMR proficient * Pain Management experience, fluoroscopy experience desired
