Pediatric Physician

Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC), a 530-bed Level I Trauma Center and safety-net hospital serving Nassau County, is seeking a Pediatric Attending Physician to join our Department of Pediatrics. The Pediatric Attending will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, supervise residents and medical students, and contribute to the academic mission of our teaching hospital. The ideal candidate is committed to serving a diverse patient population and improving child health outcomes in a public hospital setting. In this role, you will: Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric care Supervise and teach pediatric residents and medical students Participate in pediatric call coverage schedule Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across departments Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Participate in departmental academic and educational activities We require: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Eligible for New York State medical licensure Strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills Prior experience in academic or hospital-based pediatrics preferred We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, life insurance, a NYS Pension Plan, and other excellent employee benefits.
