Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Materials Analyst to join our team at the Athens Plant. In this role, you will bridge the gap between data and physical operations. You will lead our physical cycle count team while using your sharp analytical skills-and strong Microsoft Excel capabilities-to reconcile inventory variances systematically.
If you are a self-starter with a knack for tracking down discrepancies and a passion for operational excellence, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and audit the cycle count team to ensure all counts are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
- Data Analysis & Reconciliation: Print and analyze "Where Used" Bill of Materials (BOM) to research, troubleshoot, and post inventory adjustments.
- Documentation & Integrity: Organize, file, and prepare comprehensive cycle count documentation packets for management review.
- System Maintenance: Utilize Mfg Pro and electronic scanning/copying tools to safeguard and maintain the strict accuracy and integrity of our electronic inventory records.
- Safety First: Actively support the plant's health, safety, and environmental policies. Safety is a condition of employment here; you will help us promote a zero-injury culture and pollution prevention.
- High school diploma.
- Proven experience in Inventory Control and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- strong MS Excel experience is required for data tracking and reconciliation.
- Solid experience working with Bill of Material (BOM) structures and understanding material process flows.
- Valid US Driver's License (required for travel to offsite locations).
- Forklift License (required).
- Ability to learn specific corporate software, including Mfg Pro and BOS ABCD Definitions and Classification Standards.
- Detail-oriented with proven problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with a strong attendance record and excellent punctuality.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused in a high-pressure warehouse environment.
