We are seeking a MICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The RN will work closely with physicians and care teams to deliver compassionate and effective treatment to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Monitor patient condition and respond to critical changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience (within the last 3 years)
• Experience in ICU or high-acuity settings preferred (strong Med/Surg candidates considered)
• Active RN License (Florida or Compact License)
• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in acute care nursing
• Patient assessment and critical care nursing skills
• Medication administration expertise
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management
• Experience in patient education
