Network Operations Lead

Experts Group International is partnering with a fast-growing AI infrastructure organization to hire an experienced Network Data Center Technician Lead to support large-scale GPU compute and AI infrastructure environments across multiple hyperscale sites. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role ideal for professionals who own the physical network layer end‑to‑end and thrive in mission‑critical infrastructure operations at unprecedented scale. What You'll Be Doing Serving as the on‑site Tier 3 escalation point for network and structured cabling incidents across AI infrastructure Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving physical‑layer faults — validating repairs and driving rapid resolution of issues impacting customer workload Owning structured cabling and fiber infrastructure — termination, testing, and fault isolation using field tools (OTDR, Fluke, VFL) Interpreting device‑level diagnostics well enough to confirm a physical repair has restored connectivity Acting as the escalation path for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians and partnering with Network Operations on deeper investigation Documenting rigorously so Network Operations can pick up cleanly when issues exceed on‑site scope What We're Looking For Proven on‑site network or cable‑plant specialist experience in a data center, owning physical‑layer troubleshooting end‑to‑end Deep knowledge of structured cabling and fiber — testing, termination, and fault isolation Strong network fundamentals: TCP/IP, switching, and optics at a diagnostic level Experience operating as the sole escalation resource on‑site, taking incidents through to resolution Exposure to high‑density AI or hyperscale fabrics, InfiniBand, or high‑speed Ethernet is a significant advantage Fiber certification (BICSI, Fluke) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Experts Group International
