How youll make an impact in this role

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patients condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
What minimum requirements youll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences were seeking

Minimum 2 years work experience as a Registered Nurse in any of the following specialty areas required: ER/ED/CCU/ICU/IMCU/PCU/Cardiac/Cath Lab
Must reside within a 30-minute commute to Saint Agnes Hospital due to the call requirements.
