Float Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Float Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate start for a 13-week contract. This role involves floating between Stepdown and MedSurg units based on patient volume needs, and candidates must be highly flexible with their assignments.

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Availability for up to 2 weekends per month
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• Blocked schedule requests may be considered if submitted at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various units as required
• Adapt to different patient acuity levels and unit protocols
• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must possess active NC or Multistate nursing license
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years travel experience mandatory
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Recent experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
• Ability to work in a variety of settings with various patient populations
• Must adhere to dress code: all white or all navy scrubs
• Local candidates must reside more than 40 miles from the facility
