Business Analyst

Job Title

This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and data teams, leading requirements definition, data analysis, and system configuration efforts for claims, enrollment, benefits, and provider operations. The ideal candidate operates independently and can influence decisions across cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business owners and executive stakeholders for claims, enrollment, benefits, and provider data initiatives
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries against Facets data models or Facets sourced data marts to support reporting, root cause analysis, and audits
• Own functional specifications, business rules documentation, and acceptance criteria for system changes and enhancements
• Perform advanced data profiling, reconciliation, and validation across claims and enrollment data sets
• Identify systemic data quality issues within source systems and Snowflake that has impacts downstream and drive remediation plans and governance improvements
• Translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, execute-ready user stories
• Partner with IT and configuration teams to assess downstream impacts of proposed changes before implementation
