Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager position is located in Concord, Massachusetts. This role involves overseeing obstetrical nursing operations within the department. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for leadership, staff coordination, and ensuring quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift times, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The start date is 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing (preferred), minimum of five years of experience in obstetrical nursing with demonstrated leadership abilities, current licensure to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts, BLS and ACLS healthcare provider certifications, NRP certification required, in-patient obstetrical nursing certification strongly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience, familiarity with Kronos time management system, experience with staff performance evaluation and clinical policy development.
• Additional Information: The role requires flexibility and adaptability to ensure unit staffing is maintained at all times. Leadership responsibilities include staff assignment, performance evaluations, and participation in hiring. The Nurse Manager will collaborate with clinical staff to develop standards for care and update procedures, ensure staff education on policies and equipment, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. The position also involves serving as the OB Department Dayshift Charge RN on occasion, supporting patient rights, and engaging in hospital committees as appropriate.
