Special Education Teacher (Dyslexia & Orton-Gillingham Certified)

Overview Prep Academy Tutors is a private in‑home and online tutoring company dedicated to providing top‑tier educational support across all subjects for students of all ages. We are seeking experienced Special Education tutors and teachers with experience working with students with Dyslexia and Autism and who are Orton‑Gillingham certified. Applicants should be certified teachers or in the process of becoming one. Responsibilities Empower students with academic support based on the Louisiana curriculum. Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material. Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to students needing extra support or a challenge. Qualifications Current, valid registration with the New Orleans Department of Education. Qualified teacher in the United States or in the process of becoming one. Current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education. Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
