Position Overview: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Role Personal Assistance: Helping with daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Community Integration: Supporting individuals in social, recreational, and leisure activities in the community. Supervision & Interaction: Constant supervision and interaction with participants, ensuring safety and well-being. Transportation: Occasionally providing transportation to appointments or activities as coordinated by the Site Supervisor. Compliance: Adhering to all agency and state regulations, policies, and guidelines while providing care. Skills and Knowledge Experience: Preferred but not required; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Compassion & Patience: A strong desire to work with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Adaptability: Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and midnight shifts as needed.
