Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Certification as an EKG technician or successful completion of a telemetry program from another facility or Patient Care Technician with EKG certification required or 1 year experience or completion of our basic arrythmia within 6 months. Previous experience as a monitor technician preferred but not required. Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
