BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide one-on-one home health visits for adult and geriatric clients throughout Essex County, NJ.

Responsibilities:

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized care and support that enhances the quality of life for your clients, including:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Mobility support, transfers, and ambulation assistance
• Range of motion exercises
• Medication reminders and assistance
• Oral feeding and meal preparation
• Monitoring and reporting vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry and bed making
• Providing companionship and promoting a safe, comfortable home environment
• Communicating changes in client condition with the care team

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification and listed in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry.
• At least one year of related work experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation for travel between client homes.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of the BAYADA Competency Evaluation.
• Criminal background check and compliance with all state requirements.
• A compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care.

Compensation:

$26.00$30.00 per point, based on experience and qualifications.
