Schedule

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM with self-scheduling; including 6 weekend shifts per period.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse with a neurology specialty to join our team. This position requires advanced skills in caring for neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients, as well as post-neurosurgery patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-acuity ICU setting, providing specialized care with a focus on patient experience and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the neurology ICU, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status using A-line monitoring and CRRT.
• Administer treatments and medications as per protocols and patient needs.
• Assist in procedures such as bedside EVDs and ensure proper documentation using Cerner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and experiences.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ICU experience, preferably in a neurology specialty.
• Experience with advanced skills in neurological care.
