Details Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting 1:1 patient ratio with a 2-bed unit Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-call responsibilities required 7 days every other week EMR systems used: MEDHOST and MACLAB No 48-hour option or block scheduling available Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required Electrophysiology experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide professional nursing care supporting invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patients throughout the procedural timeframe Collaborate with the healthcare team utilizing the nursing process and specialized cath lab instrumentation Scrub color provided by facility Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted RTO requests must be less than one week Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-771899.
