Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

MWTh 8-6, TF 8-2

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for an effective return to community activities. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while upholding the organization's values and compliance standards.

Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.

Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.

Document medical records clearly, accurately, and timely in compliance with all guidelines.

Provide care under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.

Participate in student programs when applicable, offering guidance and evaluations.

Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical standards.

Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.

1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.

Current CPR certification.

Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where work will be performed.

Prior experience with Select Medical is a plus.
