Details Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within an acute care hospital setting Patient population includes general medical/surgical, observation, respiratory, palliative/end‑of‑life/hospice, psychiatric observation, and diabetic patients Unit is tele‑capable; all RNs are required to pass an EKG exam regardless of specialty Epic EMR — experience is mandatory Schedule: nights, 3x12‑hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed Floating across facilities may be required for all travelers 13‑week contract Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Epic EMR experience is mandatory Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information All RNs must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility Prior Charge RN experience is preferred Zero‑tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences First‑time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID #P-688877.
