Organizational Development ConsultantReporting to the Sr. Director of Organizational Development, the Organizational Development Consultant (ODC) will be responsible for the execution, implementation, coordination, and delivery of field initiatives that strengthen leadership capacity, assist in talent development, aid in succession planning, and implement the performance management framework for Retail, Post Retail, Supply Chain, eCommerce, GCS, and GSG.The ODC is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training and development programs that build capacity across all GWCTX locations and business units. This role partners with business leaders to strengthen onboarding, elevate leadership effectiveness, and support career growth for team members at all levels of the organization. By aligning training strategies with business objectives, the ODC plays a critical role in improving employee engagement, reducing turnover, and driving business performance.Roles and ResponsibilitiesConduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement organizational development strategies and initiativesFacilitate change management processes and provide support during transitionsDesign and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competenciesCollaborate with leadership teams to align organizational goals with business strategiesAnalyze and optimize business processes for greater efficiency and effectivenessFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationSupport the development of leadership and talent management programsMonitor the progress of development initiatives and make adjustments as necessaryConduct employee engagement surveys and analyze the results to inform decisionsProvide coaching and mentoring to staff and leadershipCreate and implement performance management systemsLead structured Team Member Orientation and Onboarding programs.Perform other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field- OR equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in organizational development or a related roleExperience with project management and change management methodologiesProficiency in data analysis and performance metricsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsProven track record of successful organizational change initiativesAbility to work effectively with diverse teamsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAdvanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and relevant softwareExperience in a specific industry relevant to the client baseStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with stakeholder management and client relationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsHigh level of adaptability and willingness to learnProven experience in facilitating workshops and training sessionsFamiliarity with performance management systems and toolsUnderstanding of business process improvement techniquesAbility to work a flexible schedule to accommodate Team Members' scheduling.Valid Texas driver's license, current liability insurance, reliable transportation, and approved driving recordBilingual preferredPreferred SkillsPrevious experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Talent Management, or Talent Development professional.Knowledge of change management methodologies, leadership development, employee engagement, and succession planning.Measures of SuccessCompletion and quality of assigned organizational development projects.Leader and employee participation in talent and development programs.Improvement in employee engagement and training evaluation results.Timely completion of performance reviews and talent assessments.Quality and usefulness of tools, training materials, and resources.Consistency of program use across departments and locations.Satisfaction and feedback from leaders, employees, and HR partners.Demonstrated impact on retention, leadership readiness, and organizational performance.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity.
