We focus on building streamlined processes and scalable infrastructure to help our partners operate effectively across multiple markets.Guided by our core values—Compassion, Attitude, Responsibility, and Excellence ("We CARE")—we are committed to fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.About the Role:The Controller is a senior financial leadership role responsible for overseeing TMG’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and financial systems. This role serves as a key leader in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s financial information while building scalable accounting processes that support continued organizational growth.This position will maintain oversight of the Company’s day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany accounting and consolidations, revenue recognition, cash flow, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination. The Controller will also provide executive leadership with timely financial analysis and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on financial leader with strong accounting, reporting, compliance, and team leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving multi-entity environment.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee the Company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, including team performance, coaching, process development, and adherence to accounting best practices.• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting principles and Company policies.• Prepare and own the monthly consolidation across all Company and affiliated entities, including consolidating schedules, intercompany elimination entries, equity and investment eliminations, and supporting workpapers sufficient to withstand audit review.• Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes, monitor performance against budget, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for cost control and financial improvement.• Manage cash flow and liquidity planning to support operational needs, including monitoring cash positions, investments, financing arrangements, and anticipated funding requirements.• Provide financial oversight of billing and revenue cycle activities, including trip and claims billing accuracy, payor and broker remittance reconciliations, denials, write-offs and rate adjustments, collections escalation, and accounts receivable aging and reserve analysis.• Establish, maintain, and continuously evaluate internal controls designed to safeguard Company assets, support financial integrity, prevent fraud, and maintain compliance with applicable financial requirements.• Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including review of customer, payor, and broker arrangements, identification of performance obligations, variable consideration and rate adjustments, and the related accrual, deferral, and disclosure processes, and maintain written revenue recognition policies and supporting documentation.• Coordinate external audits and other financial reviews, including preparation of supporting schedules, documentation, and responses to audit-related inquiries.• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, account reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end and year-end close processes.• Own a high volume of intercompany accounting activity across multiple entities, including recording and reconciling intercompany transactions, due to/due from balances, management fee and shared-service cost allocations, and cash sweeps, and resolving all out-of-balance intercompany items within each monthly close cycle.• Build, mentor, and develop the accounting team by establishing clear roles, responsibilities, performance expectations, and professional development opportunities.• Oversee tax compliance and required filings, including income, sales, use, payroll, and other applicable federal, state, and local taxes, in coordination with external advisors as appropriate.• Own lease accounting under ASC 842 for a significant and growing lease portfolio, including maintaining the complete lease inventory for vehicle, facility, and equipment leases, lease classification, right-of-use asset and lease liability schedules, remeasurements for modifications and renewals, discount rate determination, and related footnote disclosures.• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership to support strategic planning, operational decision-making, and long-term financial strategy.• Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and visibility.• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Business Development, and Executive Leadership to ensure financial processes, reporting, and systems support organizational needs and growth initiatives.• Provide oversight of payroll processing and related controls in partnership with Human Resources, including review and approval of payroll registers, timekeeping and driver pay accuracy, labor cost allocation across entities and locations, multi-state wage and hour and payroll tax compliance, and coordination with external payroll providers.• Develop and monitor financial reporting metrics, dashboards, and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the organization.• Manage debt, financing, and treasury administration, including covenant compliance calculations and certifications, lender and investor reporting requirements, debt service and interest schedules, and positive pay.• Support financial due diligence, new market evaluation, entity expansion, and other strategic initiatives by providing financial modeling, forecasting, and operational analysis.• Maintain appropriate accounting documentation, policies, procedures, and records to support consistency, compliance, and organizational scalability.Minimum Essential Functions:To perform CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including experience with financial reporting and accounting operations.• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, tax regulations, and auditing procedures.• Hands-on working knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 606 revenue recognition, including practical application to vehicle, facility, and equipment leases and to service or payor-based revenue arrangements.• Experience overseeing core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial close processes.• Substantial hands-on experience with high-volume intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations, management fee and shared-service allocations, elimination entries, and preparation of consolidated financial statements.• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and strategic planning.• Experience leading and developing accounting or finance teams.• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, with experience implementing, optimizing, or maintaining financial systems preferred.• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and financial reporting tools.• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights and recommendations for executive leadership.• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with executive leadership.• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-state operations preferred.• Experience overseeing billing, claims, or revenue cycle functions and payroll processing controls in a multi-state environment;
