Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We’re currently seeking a Human Resources Supervisor to join our Human Resources Department. Eligibility and Experience Requirements Six years of human resources experience; OR Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years of human resources experience; OR A bachelor’s degree plus three years of human resources experience; OR An advanced degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or a Juris Doctorate plus two years of human resources experience. Experience substitution: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full‑time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours (four years). Designation as a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience. Job Duties Communicate and coordinate with the Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Director, and Hospital Administration regarding employee shift differential pay. Audit shift differential payments each pay period and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly. Ensure all applicable staff is compensated according to position, department, and assigned shift. Review pay plan when needed to ensure agency is continuously and adequately staffed, thereby meeting patient care needs and remaining in compliance with TJC standards. Ensure equitable pay based on Civil Service rules, HCSD policies, and hospital policies. Stay abreast of changes to Department of State Civil Service hiring policies and procedures and ensure subordinate staff adheres to the same. Ensure Human Resource Analyst are properly trained and skilled in payroll and personnel transaction processing within PeopleSoft. Maintain communication with Department of State Civil Service representatives regarding various issues, specifically during agency audits. Oversee payroll administration and human resources operations for the facility. Attend educational in‑services, mandatory training, and annual review as required by hospital policy and procedure, or as deemed necessary by supervisor. Perform any and all other duties as assigned to include departmental coverage. Position Specific Details Work Location: Human Resources Department. Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Compensation: Minimum hire rate for the Human Resources Supervisor is $27.08 hourly.
