Urgent Care Physician Assistant

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage at an urgent care clinic in Nashville, NC. This role offers a consistent schedule, supportive clinical environment, and the opportunity to care for patients in a rural community setting.

Position Details Job Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Family Medicine / Urgent Care Setting: Outpatient only Location: Nashville, NC Start Date: September 28th

Schedule: Required: Monday-Wednesday Additional: Could increase if there is a need and availability Hours: 8:00 AM to 7:00pm (last patient at 6:30 PM) Patient Volume: Mondays: 25 patients/day (higher during respiratory season) Tuesdays/Wednesdays: 20 patients/day Age Range: All ages Support Staff: MAs, RNs, Care Coordinators Work Style: Independent practice with supervising physician available EMR: eClinicalWorks (Must have experience and be comfortable with)

Requirements Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active NC license Board Certification required BLS required Prior enrollment with Medicare and Medicaid Ability to work independently in a fast-paced urgent care environment Must be able to work Mondays consistently Compensation & Logistics Mileage reimbursement available (max 60 miles) No hotel reimbursement No call responsibilities Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual with lab coat required

Credentialing STAT credentialing process Provider will be credentialed with major payors Interview Process Video interview required before confirmation
