A highly respected, $250M family-owned heavy civil contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of major TxDOT and municipal infrastructure projects across Houston and South Texas.

The Project Engineer will support both project management and field operations teams across large-scale heavy civil projects, assisting with project coordination, cost tracking, scheduling, forecasting, documentation, and overall project execution. Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• Experience working on TxDOT or municipal infrastructure projects preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
• Strong understanding of heavy civil construction operations including roadway, paving, utilities, bridges, or structures
• Experience supporting project controls, scheduling, forecasting, and cost tracking
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
