Specimen Processor
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor in Indianapolis to prepare, route, and ship laboratory specimens in a high-volume setting. The role involves specimen handling, data entry, and quality assurance to support diagnostic testing operations. Evening and rotating Saturday hours required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specimens for analysis and route to staging areas
- Accurately identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment
- Perform data entry of patient information with accuracy
- Resolve and document problem specimens
- Store excess samples and meet production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Pass standardized color blindness test
