Project Coordinator - Dispatcher

Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite role)

Shift: Sunday thru Thursday (Friday and Saturday off), from 12:00pm to 9:00pm

Pay: $20.00/hr

Required: Minimum of one-year prior dispatching experience is required. Currently reside a commutable distance from Melbourne, FL. Ability to work the shift mentioned above.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinates and communicates via phone and email with field personnel to schedule operations and ensure timely, efficient repair and installation services for our commercial customers.
• Maintain good relations with the customers, technicians and staff.
• Communicate and build rapport with technicians; convey trust and assurance.
• Respond to customer / technician requests and questions.
• Obtain an understanding of which decisions can be made alone and what requires consultation with others, act accordingly.
• Analyze and rectify customer / technician concerns using established procedures.
• Receive, update, and enter work orders in a timely manner.
• Select the most qualified technician near the site.
• Monitor and record technician progress on work orders.
• Prepare work orders with complete job requirements listed in a clear and concise manner.
• Coordinate an ETA and communicate it to the customer, end user and technician.
• Order, ship and track equipment needed to complete work orders.
• Update system with every communication.
• Properly close out all billing.
• Generate and maintain (clean up) reports.
• Accomplish tasks by working with others and being a good team player, including sharing work-related information and assisting with on-the-job training of coworkers.
• Recognize how decisions may impact others
• Seek input from others when necessary.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
